Learn to Meditate

Many people who experience emotional pain and discomfort, such as anxiety or depression, also experience physical pain and discomfort to varying degrees throughout their lives.  This can range from nausea to fibromyalgia, and it is the body’s way of telling us something is wrong.

Because we live in a world where we are more often than not in a state of fight or flight, our bodies are being flooded with hormones that become toxic to us if we don’t learn how to return to a relaxed response and rebalance our systems.

In a fight or flight state, we have two options in any given circumstances.  They will manifest yes or no, black or white, all or nothing, now or not at all, and various other states of all or nothing.

Meditation puts us back into the present moment and into a relaxed response, which essentially helps us to manage our emotions much more easily, and gives us time to respond to life’s challenges much more adequately.

Meditation is undoubtedly one of the most important skills a person can have in maintaining a healthy emotional and physical state of being.
