Resilience is ”the ability to adapt well in the face of adversity, threats and significant sources of stress. Resilience is not something that is innate to some and not to others. Resilience is a trait that can be learned by everyone. It involves the ability to manage our thoughts, behaviors, and actions”. ~ Bruna Martinuzzi
Being resilient means having inner strength, and inner strength comes from knowing who you are, knowing what is important to you, knowing who and what you value, and knowing what you will and won’t stand for,
Ultimately, resilience comes from knowing yourself, knowing your feelings and knowing how to manage challenging feelings in challenging times.
Some people seem to consistently handle life’s challenges well, and they even come out on top after every challenge.
If you or someone you love is struggling with anxiety or depression, if you feel stuck, unable to move forward, lacking the self-esteem or the courage to move closer to the truth of who you are, don’t struggle any longer than you have to.
It’s not too late to learn new skills. Let’s get started.
